Grand Prix Voarlberg in Nenzing

Fabian Lienhard on second place at the race in Nenzing!

It was a hard race, because from the start until the end of the race it rained and there was always a cold wind

on the track. It had only 5°C, but it didn´t change anything for the riders from the Team Vorarlberg. They

started to attack from the first kilometre and the boy´s never give up. First made Gian Friesecke and Patrick

Jäger from the Team Vorarlberg the race really fast.

At the end of the race only two riders came to the finish sprint, and at this moment Matej Mugerli form the

Team BMC Amplatz had the better end on his side, and at the end Fabian Lienhard had to take the second

place.

It was a strong performance from the hole Team Vorarlberg. Gian Friesecke finished on the 10 th place and

Daniel Geismayr finished on the 24 th place.

We got the chance to start at the GP Lugano with a Wildcard, and we did our best and a little bit more.

Patrick Schelling from the Team Vorarlberg finished at the 12 th place, and also the hole Team made a perfect

job this day.

After more than five hours and riding more than 5000 height meter, Patrick Shelling missed the 5 th place only

for a couple seconds.

Daniel Geismayr (28 th ) and Sebastian Baldauf (29 th ) also finished with UCI points. The Team Vorarlberg gets

stronger and stronger.

The winner of the race was the Italian guy Filosi (Nippo Vini Fantini )

GP Luzern

Strong performance on Saturday from the Team Vorarlberg at the GP Luzern. Gian Friesecke only had to

beat the really strong rider Timo Güller from the Team Hörmann. Another strong performance showed

Manuel Bosch from the Team Vorarlberg, he finished on the 7 th place with only 9 seconds residue.

Maximillian Hammerle and Fabian Lienhard finished with the main field on the 24 th and 25 th place.

Time trial in Thun

Once more Gian Friesecke showed his really good conditions on the 30,2 kilometres time trail race on

Sunday. He missed the first place only for 6 seconds. Winner of the race was Peak Barnabas. (CLM Aigle)

The average speed was 47,5 km/h. This race is counted to the Tour the Swiss Cup, and Gian leads this Cup

now.
